Caring for our community, since 1947.
Mahwah EMS is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization providing free 911 ambulance service to the residents and visitors of Mahwah, Township-wide, around the clock.
If you need help in an emergency, please dial 911.

Two stations. One township. Zero cost.
The Township of Mahwah is covered by two volunteer ambulance stations — Northside, on Franklin Turnpike, and Southside, on Fardale Avenue. Each squad answers calls across roughly half the Township, and both are capable of responding anywhere in Mahwah, as well as supporting mutual aid calls to and from neighboring communities.
In addition to emergency response, we supply backup coverage to surrounding communities, stand by at Township events, and work closely with the Mahwah Fire Department — providing medical support and rehab at every working fire and rescue operation.
